EMPpad was founded in 2013 by experienced osteopaths Samuel Maddock and Steve Harper. They are the only registered primary healthcare practitioners working directly with the manufacturer of the iMRS, Swiss Bionic Solutions, within the UK.
Samuel and Steve have over thirty years combined clinical experience and are experts in the management of musculoskeletal disorders. They also have extensive knowledge across a broad range of health conditions and health related subjects. Samuel is an award winning osteopath, whilst Steve holds a degree in physiology and biochemistry, in addition to being a highly skilled practitioner.
Over the past 10 years Samuel and Steve have developed their expertise in the health technology sector, specialising in both the technical and practical application of PEMF therapy. They regularly consult with clinicians, health journalists, and leading health experts regarding the wide ranging health benefits of low frequency and intensity PEMF technology.

Samuel Maddock BSc (Hons) Ost
Samuel graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003, achieving a first class honours degree.
Sam was also awarded the silver medal for the highest academic achievement in his year. His specialist areas of interest include the clinical research and application of low frequency and intensity PEMF therapy.
Steven Harper BSc, BSc (Hons) Ost
Steven graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003.
Steve has a very strong scientific background having also attained a degree in Physiology and Biochemistry. His specialist areas of interest include the clinical research and development behind cutting edge health product technology, specifically focussed on low frequency and intensity PEMF technology.
