Getting Started with your EMPpad

If you have purchased the EMPpad iMRS, please refer to the enclosed instruction manual before your first session for help with setting up your system.

EMPpad iMRS BodyMat Suggested Settings

For your first use EMPpad iMRS system we recommend an intensity setting of 10.
After this, we suggest the following settings, using the EMPpad for 2-3 times per day.
(In most circumstances these settings do not need to be changed).

Recommended Daily Sessions:

10 – 50 intensity (maximum recommended level) in the morning for 8-12 minutes (or Activation Quick Start Setting).
10 intensity at night for 12-24 minutes (or Sleep Quick Start Setting).

Additional Optional Sessions:

50 intensity at noon for 8-12 minutes (or Performance Quick Start Setting).
25 intensity in the evening for 8-12 minutes (or Regeneration Quick Start Setting).

Using the EMPpad iMRS Pillow

This applicator is ideal for addressing areas of localised back and neck pain and dysfunction. 
Please refer to the following settings as a guide to help you to use this applicator appropriately.

Lower and Mid Back:

Acute (new) condition: 50-100 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
Chronic (older) condition: 25-50 intensity. 8 minutes.

Head and Neck :

Acute (new) condition: 25-50 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
Chronic (older) condition: 10-25 intensity. 8 minutes.

Using the EMPpad iMRS Probe

This applicator is most suited to local sites of pain or injury to the peripheral joints of the upper and lower extremities.
Please refer to the following settings as a guide to help you use this applicator appropriately.

Upper extremity peripheral joints and local sites of injury:

Acute (new) condition: 50-100 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
Chronic (older) condition: 25-50 intensity. 8 minutes.

Lower extremity peripheral joints and local sites of injury:

Acute (new) condition: 100-400 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
Chronic (older) condition: 50-100 intensity. 8 minutes.
